Description: These two brown (Grizzly) bears approached my campsite one September evening in Arctic Alaska. Bears were plentiful in this area, and it was difficult to select a campsite that did not intrude on their fishing territory. After approaching me, the bears wandered off a bit and sat, as you see here, along the riverside waiting for me to leave. I left that next morning, and by then the bears had given up and continued on their way. |
